Here at Castillo Holliday Films, we are proud to be a Certified Minority-Owned Business (MBE) through the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Our goal is clear: We are working hard to create a world-class creative production company and agency based right here in the greater Boston area. We want things to be more streamlined with a tailored to you custom experience for every single client we partner with (big or small).
We’re not here to gate keep great work behind six-figure starting budgets. We believe businesses of all sizes deserve access to exceptional film and video production and we’re here to bridge that gap.
What sets us apart isn’t just our nearly three decades of collective industry experience across film, commercial, documentary, and branded content… it’s our obsession with keeping the work in-house, hands-on, and high-touch.
We see a clear gap in the market: too many agencies overpromise and outsource. We do the opposite. Our core team personally handles everything from pre-production, creative development, on-set direction, camera operation, full post-production including color grading and editing, and more.
As a small and mighty agency, we’re honest that we occasionally collaborate with trusted specialists, but our core team operates with the range and depth of a shop triple our size. As Castillo Holliday Films grows, we plan to grow our internal capacity alongside it, taking on more scope without ever sacrificing that high-touch approach.

I spent my childhood in El Salvador with my mom and youngest sister, and didn't move to Boston until I was 15, when we joined my dad and older sister.
Growing up, this career path was never on the table. I was surrounded by people who believed success meant becoming a doctor, scientist, or engineer. It wasn't until high school in the US that I picked up a camera for the first time. My parents never discouraged me, but they didn't quite see it as a real path either. Thanks to the encouragement of my high school art teacher, I ended up at MassArt. Since then, I've been fortunate to have mentors who've championed my growth along the way.
Castillo Holliday Films is something we've built together, Dominique's vision paired with my expertise. As Director of Photography, I make sure we capture images at the highest quality, engage with the underrepresented talent on our projects, and ensure you look great on camera.

I grew up between Southern Virginia and Quebec, in a multilingual household, fluent in English and French. Before moving to Boston to attend MassArt for college, I went to a magnet school for art from 2nd-12th grade. The mentors who shaped me were for the most part, painters and photographers. They influenced the way I see the world. But more importantly, they taught me what it meant to have an unquestionable work ethic and a strong moral compass.
Since 2015, I've run my own company, Castillo Holliday Photo + Film. Specializing in fine art wedding photography documented entirely on film.
Castillo Holliday Films is the agency Javi and I built together. Here I wear many hats but largely lead creative direction. I'm the writer in the room, the decks person, and the one who pulls a project's creative thread from start to finish.
